Communion Hymn. This hymn is sung during the communion procession which is the most "intimate" moment of Liturgy for an Orthodox Christian. It is the sole reason for attending basically. It is a time of humility and honor in sharing in the mystery of God's perfect gift to us as a human race.
Receive me today O Son of God, as a partaker of thy Mystical Supper. I will not betray your mysteries to thine enemies or give you a kiss as did Judas, but as the thief I confess you. Remember me O Lord, remember me O Lord, in your Kingdom.
